TWINS FOR US!

My husband and I got married later in life, in our forties. After trying for a baby without success, we decided on IVF. Our first attempt failed, and we were just devastated. I think we didn’t fully understand how low the chances are of falling pregnant with IVF, especially the older you get. After taking some time to heal, we tried IVF again. We agreed that if it didn’t happen for us this time, we would stop. And, luckily, our second and last attempt was successful! When we were told two eggs took, we were over the moon. We’re expecting twin boys in a few months’ time, and we and our families couldn’t be happier. I started reading Your Pregnancy the moment we discovered we were pregnant, and I’ve learned so much. Thank you for all the great stories and information. I’ve kept all my editions and have even earmarked certain articles I hope to go back to once the babies arrive. SAM
