Your Pregnancy

MY GIFT

-

I’m pregnant with my first child, and during my first trimester, I wasn’t aware I was pregnant at all. I still had what I considered to be my period, didn’t gain any weight, or feel ill. In my fourth month, I did a pregnancy test, which revealed I was pregnant! I didn’t know how to react or what to think. I was still in university doing my final year in fashion design. The pressure felt too much; luckily I was left with a month to complete my studies. My boyfriend is still looking for a job, and I was afraid to tell my parents as I depend on them financially. When I got to my fifth month of pregnancy, my mother asked me if I was expecting, as she could see my bump starting to show. I was so nervous and I had no idea how she would react. The family didn’t take the news too well at first, but with time they came around and now I have their support. At my latest check-up I found out we’re having a baby girl! I’m filled with so much joy and every day I picture our mother-to-daughter moments. Thank you Your Pregnancy for giving me the knowledge and support I need to be a good mother and for all the interesting articles. I can’t wait to meet my little munchkin.
