VBAC OR CAESAREAN

I had to have an emergency caesarean section with my son two years ago. When I fell pregnant this time, I enquired about a trail of labour after caesarean (TOLAC). My gynaecologist was hesitant at first, but has allowed me to try for a vaginal birth after caesarean. I’ve faced a lot of scepticism from people and have often wondered if I’m doing the right thing, but after reading Your Pregnancy magazine and the real life stories, I feel so encouraged to do this! I believe it doesn’t matter how a baby is born, whether it’s a natural delivery or C-section, as long as the baby enters the world safely.
