DRUG abuse and satanic and occult activities will be the focus of a community awareness event in Richards Bay next month.

The Abundant Life Centre (TALC), in partnership with activist Trudy Pitout, will host a three-day ‘Warfare with a difference’ initiative on 4 to 6 May at 2 Bottlebrush Bend in Veldenvlei.

Leading the presentations will be occult and drug abuse specialist Dr Kobus Jonker, former Commander of Organised Crime (SANAB) Stan Turketti and Life Building Coach and Pastor Ryno Turketti, who will share their experiences.

Pitout encourages the public to take advantage of these information sharing sessions with some of the best minds on the respective subjects.

‘We are all painfully aware that substance abuse poses an enormous threat to the wellbeing of our community and our workforce.

‘Our education system is also severely compromised.

‘The devastation caused by drug abuse is evident in our communities and families are suffering and desperately crying out for help. We want to inform people and help them identify the tell-tale signs of drug abuse and other harmful activities.

‘Our guests will do presentations on the Friday evening at 7pm, Saturday morning from 9am to 11.30am and Sunday morning at 9am,’ said Pitout.
