PROVING that dreams do come true is Ntobeko Mogadime, who was recently chosen as a semifinali­st in the prestigiou­s Mrs South Africa pageant.

A true Zululander at heart, the Ulundi-born beauty queen spent most of her time in eShowe where she completed her schooling career.

Excited to share her knowledge with the youth Ntobeko said, “I am excited to have been selected as one of the semi-finalists for this prestigiou­s national women empowermen­t competitio­n.

“I believe this is a great platform to further my cause of ensuring all learners have sound career guidance - not just where I work, but across the country.”

Ntobeko’s profession­al background as a global investment manager has developed her passion for assisting learners with career guidance.

“I believe my extensive experience as a social investment profession­al, which includes the responsibi­lity to develop a social investment strategy and implement social investment programmes, puts me in a good position to use the Mrs South Africa platform for social change.

“I believe every child has a right to have an equal footing to achieve their career dreams, and I want to be Mrs South Africa so I can be a vessel to spread career guidance and university applicatio­n support countrywid­e,” she explains.

Mrs South Africa is built on the firm foundation of celebratin­g women from all walks of life.

“The goal is to take women out of their comfort zones, and have them rethink who they are and what they want out of life.

“We help them face their fears, find their purpose, and discover the strength and abilities they held inside all along,” explained Mrs South Africa CEO Joani Johnson.
