Mama’s boy makes mama proud

In a comedy set dedicated to his mother, comedian Mangaliso Mhlongo left Zululanders in stitches during his one-man show Mama’s Boy at the University of Zululand in KwaDlangezwa on Saturday.

From talking about relationships, and crazy entertainment stories to jokes about the church, the rip-roaring session left the audience begging for more.

The show also featured comedians Gqonqa and Simphiwe Shembe, as well as some music items.

Over the past three years Mangaliso has climbed the entertainment ladder and opened for well known acts such as Savanna man Barry Hilton, Sifiso Nene and Siyanda Maphumulo.
