Hundreds prepare to take on the Mondi Schools Challenge

HUNDREDS of athletes will line up at the start line on Sunday, 27 May for the popular annual Mondi Schools Challenge at the Bay Hall area in Richards Bay.

The 5km fun run/walk will start at 9am at a cost of R10 per entrant.

The school that completes the route with the most competitors will pick up a cheque of R21 000, with second place receiving R17 000 and third

R15 000.

On top of the prize money there is R10 000 in lucky draw prizes for schools that did not end on the podium.

Registration takes place on Saturday from 3pm to 5pm at the Bay Hall area. The event is open to anyone.

One does not need to be affiliated to a school to enter.

Just choose a school to represent and enter the event.
