THIS year marks the 10th rendition of the annual Dolos Festival.

A highlight on the Zululand entertainment calendar, this year’s line-up already sizzles with the best in SA talent.

Theuns Jordaan, Riana Nel, Snotkop, Elizma Theron and Elandré are some of the confirmed artists who will perform.

The Dolos Festival will take place during the weekend of 21 to 23 September at the open field across from the Zululand Multisport Club near Alkantstrand in Richards Bay.

Apart from great South African music, festivalgoers can also look forward to other entertainment such as bodyboard lessons, a skateboarding competition, horse riding on the beach and the parkrun.

Get involved

The organisers are still looking for sponsors, so if you would like to have your business associated with this very popular festival that attracts thousands of people every year, call Elize Boshoff at 083 6355358.

A food court concept will be introduced to the festival this year, so if you have an authentic food stall, please give Elize a call.

Interested stall holders may also contact Elize.

There will once again be a stalls tent, as well as a business tent for local companies wanting to showcase their unique services.

There will only be 12 spaces available in this tent, and only one business of its kind will be allowed to exhibit.

If you buy a ticket before the end of May, it will cost you R180 per person for the whole weekend.

From 1 June to 20 September, tickets will cost R200 per person.

During the weekend of 21 to 23 September, a ticket will cost you R230 at the entrance or R100 per day.

Children younger than 12 will pay R50 per day and those under five years old get in free.
