What is a Mammogram?

A mammogram is an X-ray of the breast performed to look for early arly signs of breast cancer.

It can be done annually on women over 40 years of age.

A mammogram is still the best screening tool for detecting breast reast cancer. Early detection means s more treatment options and a better outcome.
