NIFCO Products España incorporates last generation machinery
NIFCO Products España has increased by 525m2 the production space of the plant in Terrassa, which is added to the almost 1,000m2 of warehouse space already converted to production in the last 3 years. The new warehouse in Rubí, recently opened, and the optimization of the layout of the facilities in Terrassa have enabled the company to set up a new production space for the assembly of high rotation products, primarily levers for the main OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturer). The new space at the plant in Terrassa will accommodate a total of 15 to 20 machines which will allow the company to meet the new production needs and to efficiently meet specific demands of leading brands in the industry. These are automatic and semi-automatic machines tailored to the current quality and demand requirements, designed and manufactured internally at NIFCO (6 of which are new to meet the projects from different manufacturers). “This new space is a flexible area which allows us to quickly adapt our production capacity and the necessary machinery to the type and pace of production required by the plant in Terrassa at any given time”, says the Director of NIFCO Products España, Albert López. In recent years, NIFCO Products España has made a clear commitment to the future, with investments close to 10% of its turnover, both in technology and in the improvement of its facilities. This new area completes the last expansion phase foreseen in the Strategic Plan 2015-2016 of the company, which still maintains its desire to keep on working on the continuous optimization of the productive space for which NIFCO Products España has been awarded a worldwide prize of the NIFCO Group.
