Heredad Beragu

-

At the high point in the medieval town of Gallipienzo, Heredad Beragu proudly stands, an agro-chic lodging establishment that was recently built and is made up of four restored houses: La Ubalda House, Antolín House, El Cuco House, and Vidal House. The hotel is in a hidden corner of the heart of Navarre, amidst a wooded and mountainous natural area.the place, much like the Griffith Observatory of Los Angeles, gives visitors the feeling that they have their life under control and a sense of proximity to the sky.

The lodge blends with the Kaparreta Nature Reserve and the Aragón River ravine, which sprawls out before visitors’ eyes and vanishes in the distance. The aim of Patxi and Ramón, the owners who have shaped this cozy hotel, is to ensure that their guests have a luxurious experience so that they can get away from the routine of daily life, providing them with a sense of peace –a peace that stems from the natural surroundings– and unparalleled attention to meet any of their needs.

Heredad Beragu has a total of nine rooms, eight of which have views to the nature reserve.they are all individually decorated to honor the culture and traditions of the region.

The hotel also has solar panels that are able to heat 100% of

the water used by the guests, reducing the use of solid fuel

by 60% per year and avoiding all types of emissions to the

atmosphere for four months.therefore, this is considered an eco-friendly establishment.

A small terrace at the lodge’s entrance invites the guests to sit and daydream. It is an ideal place to enjoy the aerial parade of the birds: vultures, eagles, hawks, and kites help to start off the day at the Kaparreta Nature Reserve.

In terms of its cuisine, the dinner menu changes daily to allow guest to taste different types of local, fresh products and to experience the “0 km”, “Slow Food” philosophy during their stay.visitors who wish to take their culinary experience a step further can complement their stay with a visit to the villages of Olite, Ujué, and Sos del Rey Católico, which are all in the Gallipienzo area; or, of course, a visit can be made to one of the numerous wineries included along the Navarre Wine Route.

At any time of year and no matter what the weather is like, the Heredad Beragu Hotel is undoubtedly the best place to stay and will help you to experience the essence of the Kingdom of Navarre’s culture
