Anhelo

BOUTIQUE

-

The anhelo boutique can be found at Calle Matia Number 1 of San Sebastián in a nineteenth-century building from which the vintage allure of the products held within emanates. The shop has two floors, one reserved for the atelier and the other for tending to customers.the atelier is where Elena and Ana, the business’s founders, have been manufacturing handmade collections and custom pieces of fine jewelry, hats, and women’s accessories for 16 years.

On the floor open to the public, alongside the brand’s own products, there is also a corner reserved for makeup, manicures, and pedicures. In terms of the shop’s manicures and pedicures, only ecological cosmetics, essential oils, and nail polishes are used – all by the company Handmade Beauty, of Madrid, and suitable for people with celiac disease, those who suffer from allergies, pregnant women, and young girls.

In order to cover the increasing demand for select products, anhelo works with some of the most renowned firms of the sector: candles and fragrance diffusers by Sara Miller of London, as well as hand soaps and shower soaps with a 1920’s look by the iconic Portuguese brands Claus Porto and Confiança, fragrances, hand creams, and candles by Tocca of New York, in addition to lipsticks, balms, eye shadow, cosmetic compacts, and cosmetic pouches by Paul & Joe Beauté.

Amongst the boutique’s most unique items are the Kerzon linen mists. Every aroma by this maison of Paris is dedicated to a different area of the City of Lights: Jardin du Luxembourg, Place des Vosges, Île Saint-louis, Faubourg Saintantoine, and Tuileries Palais-royal, among others. In addition to their linen mists, which can be used on the body, clothing, or sheets, the anhelo boutique also offers scented sachets and hand creams by the same brand.

Other Parisian businesses with which the boutique has worked for much time are Chantal Thomass, the renowned lingerie designer whose umbrellas reflect her flirty universe, and Ladurée, which has transferred the classic, floral, woody, and citric scents of its famous teas, cakes, and macarons to candles, air fresheners, and incense for homes. Ladurée also has a jewelry line for handbags.

Un Soir à l’opéra is a Parisian firm that manufactures scents inspired by the most famous operas. thus, anhelo has spray diffusers and air fresheners that commemorate Don Giovanni, The Magic Flute, Swan Lake, and Madame Butterfly.

Eaux de toilette by Maison Abriza, as well as perfumes by Papillon Rouge and Dr. vranjes help to round off the luxurious offerings of the anhelo boutique – a shop that has brought Europe’s most refined aromas to San Sebastián and which, additionally, is now launching its own signature candle called ‘Eleana.’
