LUXURY VAN SERVICE

-

No, what you see here is not a private jet, despite its appearance; it is a minivan that belongs to the company Uniqê, a company which specializes in passenger transport by road. Established in San Sebastián in 2018, this firm has managed to stand out from the others with vehicles whose levels of comfort and service are quite superior, as well as with unique cab configurations that provide a solution for a niche market that was lacking in terms of transportation: the company’s vehicles can seat 9, 12, and 15 passengers. another of the developments by this firm, in relationship with the 9-seat minivan, is that its ‘Porsche brown’ leather seats are individual; that is to say, there is only one seat at each side of the aisle, offering more space for each passenger.

All vehicles are equipped with a starry ceiling, wi-fi, USB ports, electrical outlets, Nespresso coffee pot, and a highrange refrigerator by the Italian firm Smeg. The 9-seat

minivan also has a 32-inch screen and a printer (used frequently for long-distance executive travel). In terms of the 12-passenger van, it has two 19-inch screens and four tables.the 15-seat vehicle has two 19-inch screens and two worktables.

Marta Ortega, the daughter of multi-millionaire Amancio Ortega, trusted Uniqê to transfer guests for her spectacular wedding in which Chris Martin, Norah Jones, and Jamie Cullum acted and which was attended by Jon Kortajarena, Amaia Salamanca, and Peter Lindbergh, among others. Festivals like Heineken Jazzaldia and the International Film Festival of San Sebastián have used these elegant vehicles to pick up their guests.

All Uniqê drivers speak fluent English and also receive ongoing specialized training from the company. Aiming to offer even more personal, immediate service, the company has just opened a new office in Bilbao; this new office is a great way to break into the city, which is experiencing broad touristic growth.
