Tight Lines by Terry Screen

We fished the 4th round of the Winter Series at El Bosquet Complex on September 22, and we are getting good turn outs for the matches now that the holiday period is over.
On his return back to Spain Ron Salisbury was drawn on the back canal and fishing bread and pellet he made the best weight of the day.
There were just the two double figure weights and then it dropped off drastically along with two dry nets
1st Ron Salisbury with 11.860kgs fishing the pole using bread and pellet
2nd Richard King with 10.340kgs fishing the pole using pellet and corn
3rd Lennie Bolton with 9.620kgs fishing the pole using pellet and bread
There are still some vacancies available for membership at the club

The 4th match of the Winter Series was also fished on El Bosquet Complex on September 23.
Waters do not usually fish well two days on the trot, but wow what a day for some anglers especially Lennie Bolton with his precision feeding and skills to take the top place with over 36kgs. The same pegs seem to be producing the winning weights, with the majority of the fish shoaled up in these pegs.
1st Lennie Bolton with 36.060kgs fishing the pole using pellet and bread
2nd Neil McBirnie with 21.044kgs fishing the pole using pellet
3rd Mick Hill with 13.760kgs fishing the pole using pellet and corn
There are still some vacancies at the club and if anyone is interested in joining please contact Derek Swann on 966 729 293 or 603 535 771.
