Ondara street fair opens

Ondara will be celebratin­g their 32nd Fira de Fires during the next three weekends

ONDARA'S annual fair is set to take over the town once again over the last three weekends in November with a mass of fun activities to suit every age.

A trade fair with shops and other businesses from all over town holding stalls in the street, a gastro and wine fair, and an animal show in the bullring take place on, Saturday, Nov 11 and Sunday Nov 12.

The fairground will be open with rides of every descriptio­n ranging from those for wimps to scary ones for daredevils. Dog Show on Sunday, November 12th. The following weekend, on

Nov 18 and Nov 19, a stock fair and food-tasting with lots of bargains to be found - edible or not - will be held in the Plaza del Prado, a Pilota Valenciana match and a Mediaeval market themed on the Moors of the Middle Ages, complete with arts, crafts, handmade food and Arab tea-tents will be on the streets of the old town. Lastly, on Saturday, November 25 and Sunday, November 36, fans of two-wheeled transport will enjoy the motorbike rally, and foodies can get stuck in at the culinary fair which features very reasonably-priced buffet-type dinners with dishes from several of Ondara's best restaurant­s in miniature in a marquée in the Plaza del Prado. The fairground will be on throughout these three weeks.

November 18th & 19th

Fira de Mostres i Comerc. Local shops selling their excess stock at up to 70% discount at the Prado Fira d'Associacio­ns. Informatio­n and promotions about the various local associatio­ns at the Prado, near the bullring.

Medieval market opening in the various squares historical centre of town.

Fair ground rides at the park area beside the Prado. Open in the afternoon.

November 25th & 26th

Classic cars, bikes and lorries exhibition along Abda Doctor Fleming on Sunday, November 26th.

Mercat de la terra. Local products and hand crafts. Gastronomi­c Fair: tasting of locally produced products at the Prado Fair ground rides at the park area beside the Prado. Open inthe afternoon.
