Teulada-Moraira's municipal theatre school starts new term

As every year the municipal theatre school, under the direction of Rosa Catalán, started its classes during the month of October and the term will end in June 2019.

As the demand increased it was necessary to form age groups. The classes for the children’s group take place from 5pm to 6pm, the classes for the youngsters take place from 6:30pm to 8pm and the classes for the adults take place from 8pm to 9:30pm.

The classes are taught at the Salón de Actos at the Town Hall Teulada. The students work on improvisation techniques, pronunciation and expression, movements and body control, teamwork and the preparation of the personality on stage. At the end of the term each group will be able to present a play which will depend on the interpretation level of the group. The students will learn how to work independently but also as a team. With the time they will be able to perform artistic parts without restraint, with respect, creativity and profundity.

This is a course based on interpretation techniques, expressive movements and voice. The classes will also focus on the necessities of the different groups. The students can choose the project type they wish to work on or explore. Should it be advisable the students could also be part of certain events such as the cultural week, Christmas activities or the medieval market.
