La Vila Rugby in masterclass training session
La Vila's team of forwards took a trip to the grounds of Campos Jorge Diego 'Pantera' Quatre Carreres in Valencia this week for a special training session from Joe Mamea, ex player of Silverstorm El Salvador who formed part of the team for nine years. He now trains César Sempere's team, Tatami Rugby.
Also joining this special training session were the forward players of Technidex Valencia and Andemen Tatami.
The training focussed on formations for scrums and touches amongst others.
With this masterclass as part of La Vila's training programme, coach Hernán Quirelli is ready to confront their next rivals Ampo Ordizia a strong Basque team who have players such as Julen Goia, fernando López and Unai lasa who form part of the National Spanish Rugby team.
La Vila are hopeful for favourable progress for injured players although some may take longer than others like Tyler Bush who has a more serious lesion.
La Vila wish to get their game back on track in order o accumulate points and find a more comfortable position on the classification table as far away as possible from the relegation zone occupied at the moment by Gernika and Cisneros
The ninth match day of the Heineken Legaue will be this Sunday, November 25 at 12 noon, at the home ground of La Vila 'Estadio de Rugby de Villajoyosa - and they will be up against Ampo Ordizia.
