- By Eric Malpus

Week 21

After last week's slowing down, the Premier League was back with a bang, supplying the Alfaz Fantasy Football League with a shed load of goals. Altogether the obe Monday night game, two F.A.Cup replays and a full Premier League at the weekend gave the A.F.F.L. 44 goals, 6 clean sheets, 30 yellow cards, and 2 red ones. Wolves defender Wily Boly and Liverpool's utility Player James Milner were the players who went for an early bath. There was also 4 own goals 2 of them from Wolves defender Conar Coady. the other two from Everton's Lucas Digne and Spur's Fernando Llorente.

John's team Wee Aggies lead at the top of the A.F.F.L. as slowly been ebbing away, Andrew's team Ballers who have now closed the gap to 37 points when at one time the Wee Aggies were running away with a 70 point advantage over the rest. His team may suffer now that Spur's Harry Kane is out for a while injured. Mind you there are also another 100 Fantasy Managers in the same boat! Adam's Equipo Sin Hombre have slipped down to 3rd and are level on points with Barbra's XI. At the other end of the Table, Gary's Upside Team fell further behind Liz's Cookies Crew, the distance now a massive 54 points.

Our Mark Carter Ladies Section is turning into a real battle at the top with Linda's Team Tapas moving to within 1 point of the Leaders Barbra's XI. Pauline's Vodka Army have gone A.W.O.L. and have slipped out of the reckoning for the time being but I'm sure they will be back. Down in the basement, Liz's Cookies Crew has been bottom for the last two weeks after taking over from Kim's Ginger United who is now 17 points above them.

Ollie's team Olly F.C. are enjoying a good spell at the top of our Junior League. They reached the summit four weeks ago and they have been steadily building a substantial lead over Harley's Ginger Ninjar, at the moment 12 points is the difference. At the opposite end of the Table, Fleetwood Gian is showing signs of recovery and have managed to close the gap on Tom's Real City to only 11 points.

The goals again were flowing last week which gave our Across the Costa's Golden Boot League an average score of 15 points Bill's East Fifers stretched their lead at the top over Grahem's Lloris and Gromit to a comfortable 34 points. Top scoring team in this section was Lee's Athletico Higgo with a tally of 50 points courtesy of Wolves Hat-Trick Star Diogo Jota who bagged 21 points of them. Liz's Cookies Crew 61 are still bottom of this Section despite scoring 20 points this week, They made up ground on Dave's team The Hatters to only 6 points.

Jimmy's team Nick's Blues had the lowest score last week with a Zero to his name. This week he has got the highest score of 80 points which means he will go into our monthly wine draw for the 2nd week running. His team is an all Manchester City Line-Up which meant he had double points going in this week. Two other teams will join him in the draw and they are our lowest scoring teams, Kris's Death Row United and Steve's Two Can Vam Dam who only manages to score 4 points each.

Pauline's Vodka Army are still camped out at the top of our Champion of Champions League with a 37 point advantage over Joe's team Keith Lard F.C. while at the other end Dave's team The Hatters are still lagging behind Mick's Walkden Town Res by 63 points.

With one week left to go Hup Hannah City have taken a crucial 6 point lead over Linda's Team Tapas.
