THE HUGELY popular Harry Potter exhibition, which has been visited by hundreds of thousands of people on its journey throughout the world, will be opening in Valencia this April.

The exhibition enables visitors to ‘get an up close and personal look at the artistry and craftsmanship that went into creating the iconic props and costumes that appeared throughout the Harry Potter films’.

The organisers state that the ‘authentic artefacts will be displayed in elaborate settings inspired by locations from Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, including the Gryffindor common room, Hagrid’s hut and the Great Hall.

“This is your chance to step inside the famous wizard’s magical world with Harry Potter: The Exhibition. Experience dramatic displays inspired by the Hogwarts film sets and see the amazing craftsmanship behind authentic costumes and props from the Harry Potter films,” they say.

Created in partnership with Warner Bros. Consumer Products, Global Experience Specialists, Inc. (GES) the 1,400m2 exhibition – which includes artefacts and costumes from all eight Harry Potter films – is described as another ‘magical experience from J.K. Rowling’s Wizarding World’.

It made its world premiere in Chicago in April 2009 before travelling to Boston, Toronto, Seattle, New York, Sydney, Singapore, Tokyo, Edmonton, Sweden, Cologne, Paris, Shanghai, Brussels, The Netherlands, Madrid and Milan – and has been seen by more than five million people.

When it visited Madrid in 2017, more than 460,000 people saw the exhibition in just four months.

The Valencia stop-off will be at the Ciutat de les Arts i les Ciències (City of Arts and Science) and ticket details and full information, including exact opening dates, will be available from www.harrypotterexhibition.es in the coming weeks.
