Valldigna Golf Society

February Stableford at La Galiana, Carcaixent.

All the superlatives said Tuesday our monthly game at the Galiana was to surpass them all.

The day was bright with clear blue skies and most importantly no wind. You couldn’t have wished for a better day to play golf on a superb golf course La Galiana which improves each month a little tweet here and there which goes by mostly unnoticed but all the time keeps improving and improving.

Enough said about La Galiana we do still have an injury list of player’s which I am glad to say is lessening so hopefully we will be at full strength in the next couple of months. All those players that are on the byline we wish a speedy recovery and look forward to them joining us as soon as they can.

Now to the nitty gritty, I have not known so many people enjoy the game for some time whether they played to their handicap or below.

Overall, it was a very good exciting day. We had our usual good turn out from Edetania although they are also members of Valldigna. Some of our longest drives and nearest the pins went out to Edetania, but I’m pleased to say that our main prizes went to our own society members and we hope they all enjoyed the fruits of their labour so congratulations to all our winners and losers alike.
