Teulada-Moraira Fishing Club

On February 6, we held match 18 of our winter league. Early morning temperatures were a cool 8 degrees but rose to 19 degrees by midday. Unlike the previous two weeks the wind was very slight and at times completely calm. 12 members fished B2 section of the river Jucer in beautiful sunny conditions however, nobody told the fish what a great day it was with the result that 5 members blanked and the remaining seven managed just 14 fish between them for a total of 33kgs, by far our quietest day of the winter season.

Our final match of the winter season took place on Wednesday, February 13 on the river Jucar section E2 and with only 12 points separate the top four anglers. Current standings are: 1st Vic Wills, Special Ground Bait - 101 points

2nd Graham Sewell Sooty93 points

3rd Steve Hartwell The Valencian - 90points

4th Frank Povey, The Poacher - 89 points
