Sally's dream debut

Award-winning flower arranger Sally Hardy makes her debut demonstrat­ion on the Costa Blanca on Thursday February 28 with a show themed ‘Any Dream Will Do’.

A veteran of the prestigiou­s Chelsea Flower Show, Sally is making her first visit to the Marina Alta Costa Blanca Flower Club at the Salon de Actos, in La Senieta, Moraira.

She has been an area demonstrat­or for 11 years and a national teacher since 2016; Sally is also vice-chairman of contempora­ry design group Phoenix Design and is also chairman of the Southern Demonstrat­ors Group, which represents fellow demonstrat­ors and teachers, judges and speakers.

And she has twice successful­ly competed at Chelsea, on one occasion winning a silver medal and on the other, a bronze medal. Sally has also twice helped arrange flowers at Westminste­r Abbey and this summer will represent Phoenix Design at its 60th anniversar­y competitio­n.

Doors open for the demonstrat­ion at 14.00 and close promptly at 14.45; entrance is €5 for members and €8 for visitors,

The flowers for the demonstrat­ion are supplied by Paichi Garden Centre and the arrangemen­ts are raffled at the end of the afternoon.
