Stableford competition February 2019 at El Bosque Club de Golf

32 players descended on El Bosque Club de Golf for a days´ golf in almost perfect winter conditions. As well as some new members we also had (finally) some new buggies to drive around the course.

Paul Wilcock (handicap 14) celebrated his first game this year with us by romping home with 38 points. A short head behind him was Les Cranston (h´ andicap 14) with 36 points. A further half length behind was “newby” Ian Traynor (handicap 25) with 33 points. Andy Johns was the days´ guest winner by a distance with 37 points.

Nearest the pin prizes went as follows: Hole 2 Ian Traynor, Hole 4 Andy Johns, Hole 8 Derek Ashton, Hole 12 Paul Wilcock, Hole 14 Chris Vickers. Hole 18 Carl Randall

Best front 9 was won by Les Cranston with 20 points while Carl Randall won the back 9 with 23 points.

Total number of “blobs” or nil scores for the day was 143 which was won by Kim Rasmussen who pocketed €68.
