Stableford competition, Oliva Nova on Tuesday February 19

Still cold, with a breeze, so it was onto the fairway for yet another competition for Pego Golf Society.

This week, we had three guests, and they were Chris Riley, Ann Riley and Peter Hanks. There was a guest prize and that was won by Chris Riley. All were warmly welcomed by our Captain Mr Bill Pike

In the main event, a stableford / CLG Qualifying, the results were as follows:-

Division 1

Winner was Feli Baybut with 37 Points off 17.3

Second was Mick Connelly with 37 Points off 16.6

Third was Donna Green with 37 Points off 15.6

Fourth was Nigel Siddall with 37 Points off 13.8

You don’t get a result closer than this anywhere. Good golf by all the winners and everybody is cut.

Division 2

Winner was Alan Barwick with 36 Points off 18.9

Second was Jim Hayward with 34 Points off 19.8

Third was Paul Trigwell with 33 Points off 20.8

There were four two’s today featuring Donna Green, Colin Foster, Paul Trigwell and Peter Rapley.
