Dynamic 3D Navigation Implant Surgery

-

Today we would like to present a revolutionary technology in implant dentistry which will bring the quality of our daily work to a much higher level.

As one of the first dental clinics in Spain we our very proud to announce that we have started working with a completely new dynamic navigation system helping us to achieve even better results in implant surgery.

This highly advanced system has recently been invented in the USA and launched in Europe just a few months ago.

After an intensive training in Switzerland me and my team are now able to offer the benefits of this amazing technology to our patients.

First to mention among many other advantages is the progress in precision.

After having made a 3D image with our new scanner, we can easily transfer data to the planning software of the XGuide device.

All important structures, like nerves, roots etc. can be detected and the implant virtually put into the perfect position.

High precision planning is one thing, but how can we transfer this important information

to the patient’s mouth?

The X-Guide system consists of various cameras, sensors and tracking applications that allow the dentist to visualise the exact position of his implant tools at any time on a chair side screen whilst working in the patient’s mouth!

Guided implant surgery is not a new approach, using a template, usually being designed and produced a week before the actual implant surgery. We introduced the NobelGuide System almost 15 years ago as the first dental clinic on the Costa Blanca.

Now we take the guided surgery to the next level.

Besides accuracy it is the speed of performing the treatment.

Within 30 minutes we have the 3D scan, the treatment planning and the implant placed in it’s proper position !

This is an incredible achievement in comparison to the static guided surgery of before!

Not only time is being saved but also money.

The expenses for a premanufactured drilling guide are no longer needed.

Another great advantage is the flexibility during the surgery. If for any reason an alteration is required the surgeon can react immediately and follow the procedure on the screen having a turn-byturn guidance of what he is doing!

And last but not least the minimal invasive surgery reduces significantly or avoids totally bruising, swelling and pain, probably the most desired benefit of all!
