Stableford competition October 2019 at El Bosque Club de Golf.

Another excellent turnout of 30 players for this month's competitions on a warm sunny day led to some mixed results.

Most successful player of the day was Ian Traynor who took home €52 by correctly predicting that there would be 130 nil scores (blobs) on the day, won his knock out match to precede to the semi final stage and also scored 36 points to win the main event of the day.

Right behind him in 2nd place was Peter Howarth with 34 points while Frank Buck was 3rd with 31 points.

Peter also won his knockout match to win a place in the final in December.

A new visitor from across the pond, Matt Quirk scored 34 points to win our guest prize on count back from Charlotte Bull. Best front nine went to Mike Clarkson with 19 points, while Carl Randall won the back 9 with 20 points.
