Captain's Day, although very windy, was a fabulous day.

There were longest drives for men and women on the 1st and 10th tees and NTP's on all par 3's plus second shot on the 5th, so many, many prizes to be won. Bill our captain also did balls in the water and 2's! We had a lovely breakfast while signing in and Anne-Grethe Wise and Elizabeth Grin drove around in a buggy full of great food for the players.

We had a wonderful buffet lunch in the clubhouse after the game which the Captain's team won 83 - 70 so well done to everyone who took part.

Bill gave thanks to Malcolm for organising such a great meal with Oliva Nova, to Penny and Shaun for putting the competitio­n together and Liz and Anne-Grethe and the Staff at Oliva Nova.

The winners on the day were: Balls in the Water which was a whopping 159 was a card draw won by Paul Sankey 2's there was only one '2' won by Steve Boyes The money paid in on the day was split and given in prizes and won by: Angus Muir - Euros 50, Barry Levett - Euros 20 and Dave Sutton - €10

Dave Phillips birthday bottle was won by John Snelling NTP's were won by: Hole 3 - Martin Livesey

Well done to everyone who won there were also a huge number of raffle prizes and a huge amount of €400 was raised for the Captain's charity.
