Vistabella Bowls Club

Another varied week of results with Vistabella Eagles losing heavily against Greenlands Beech - 2-12, with shots 84-104 but with some close rinks and a nice social atmosphere afterwards.

The Drivers were at home to Greenlands Sycamores, and the match resulted in a draw 7-7, shots 94-108. They were really all close, hardfought rinks but with a good sporting attitude on both sides and thoroughly enjoyed by all.

Not a good day for the Albastrosses losing 2-12 to Emerald Isle Titans, with a difference of 89-104 shots.

Another draw on Wednesday, when Vistabella were away to Bonalba in the Winter League -sponsored by the Laguna Tavern, Entre Naranjos finishing 6-6, with shots 90-74.

The Friday matches saw Vistabella Picadores winning comfortably 12-2 against Monte Mar Toreadors, and two reverse results for Vistabella Lanzadores who lost against the San Miguel Bulldogs, 6-8, with shots 95-96, a very close match. Then Vistabella Conquistadores won 8-6 against San Luis Jaguars, with shots 112-109. Both very close games so a mixed bag of results this week.
