Benidorm Fiestas 2019

The annual Benidorm fiesta officially starts tonight, when the fiesta queens switch on the lights on Calle Martinez Alejos, then make their way through the streets of the Old Town to Bull Ring at 19.00 to open the fairground, which will remain throughout the fiesta.

SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 9

12.00 (Noon): Bell ringing to mark that the fiesta has started followed by Arial bombing of very loud fireworks.

13.00: Musical extravagan­za by numerous local bands in the Town hall square.

17.00: Theatrical re-enactment on Poniente beach of the first apparition of Our Lady of Benidorm which took place in 1740.

18.30: Flower offering starting at Dove Park up to the San Jaime church at the top of the Old Town.

23.00: Live music at town hall square.

SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 10

11.00: Mass at San Jaime church followed by Arial bombing of fireworks

14.00: Mascleta at top of Avenida Jaime I 17.00: Children’s theatre in the Huerto de Colon followed by free chocolate.

12.00 (midnight): Concert by ‘La Union’ in

Town Hall square – very famous Spanish group.

MONDAY, NOVEMBER 11

14.00: Mascleta at top of Avenida Jaime I

17.00: Children theatre on Calle La Biga – just off Ruzafa followed by free chocolate.

23.30: Live music and DJ’s in Town hall square followed by Correfocs!

TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 12

14.00: Mascleta at top of Avenida Jaime I 18.00: Children’s theatre on Calle Gambo 19.00: Fancy Dress parade in Old Town. 12.00 (midnight): Midnight fireworks on Avenida Jaime I

00.30am: Concert at Town hall square – Queen and Bruno Mars tributes.

WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 13

18.00: Float parade starting at Dove Park, heading up Almendroa and down Ruzafa

21.00: Fireworks let off from Poniente beach – spectacula­r.

THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 14

British fancy dress day. Will take place on C/Gerona and surroundin­g streets… all day long!
