Vistabella Bowls

Monday started off with a good away win for the Albatrosses against the La Siesta Apollos 410, with shots 130 for and 98 against. A tight match for the Eagles against Greenland Chestnuts the Eagles losing 5-8, with shots 88 for and 111 against. An even tighter match for the Drivers away to Montemar Matadors, where it went right down to the wire 8-6 to the home team, with shots finishing at 100-100… how close was that!

There was another tight game on Wednesday in the Winter League, with Vistabella beating La Marina 7-5. The shots finished at 82-78 in favour of Vistabella. The Winter League is sponsored by the Laguna Tavern in Entre Naranjos.

Friday’s results were not so good for the Conquistadores, who went down 4-10 against the Greenlands Elms, although the shots were very close again 100104, which shows that it was a well fought match.

The Drivers away to San Miguel Boxers struggled on some rinks and went down 4-10, with shots 95-127. The Lanzadores also had a close game against the Emerald Isle Cavaliers, losing 6-8, with shots 107-103, so losing on games but winning on shots, this was very tight indeed.
