How did Lions celebrate Christmas?

The Teulada-Moraira Lions were very busy over the Christmas period.

After another sell out concert - this time the most enjoyable 'Christmas Extravaganza' concert, held in La Senieta on December 1, (see photo), the Lions held their Annual Christmas Draw on Saturday, December 21. There were many lovely prizes on offer and TM Lions would like to thank all the sponsors who provided the prizes as well as our loyal supporters for buying the tickets. The draw was held in the Lions Den on Ctra Moraira-Teulada, Moraira beneath the Pepe la Sal supermarket - if you haven't found this yet, pop in for a selection of top quality second hand clothes, books, DVDs plus much more - open 10am to 1.30pm from Monday to Saturday.

These fundraising activities form part of the ongoing programme of events carried out by the TM Lions team which raised a total of over €40k in 2019. All this money goes to support people and organisations in need.

Most recently, TM Lions sponsored a handwriting competition for the children of a Benitachell school, provided vouchers for the most needy via the El Verger Centre and contributed to the Three Kings celebrations by offering funds to cover some of the running costs.
