In normal circumstances this week the U3A Vall del Pop would have held its Easter Bonnet competition at the April General Assembly. But of course everything is in lockdown at present.
In order to give us all a smile at what we are missing Christine, the leader of our flower arrangement group, has sent three photographs of a floral bonnet she had made for her granddaughter in better times. Her granddaughter won on the day – whether for the size, or the ability to keep it on her head I don’t know. But rely on donations to help continue to provide this service.

Christine had certainly produced a super floral bonnet.
We hope you enjoy this sight of Spring, at this unusual Easter.
Stay safe and communicate with each other.
The U3A is all about enjoyment and learning, and this is particularly evident in the U3A Vall del Pop, whose members hold their General Assembly generally, fiestas and holidays permitting, on the first Thursday of each month at the Centre Polivalent in Murla, and have a diverse range of more than thirty groups for the interest of the members.

Volunteer drivers desperately needed to transport patients to hospital, mostly in Denia, Benidorm and Alzira for urgent life saving cancer treatment. Sometimes only 15 minutes, other times a few hours depending on treatment. Expenses are paid to drivers. Commitment can be as much or as little as you can manage.
