LOCAL MARKETS ARE BACK IN TOWN

The traditional weekly street markets are returning with stalls selling only food. There are new social distancing rules and hygiene measures to allow the stalls to welcome back the public.

The stalls are spread across the area to leave 2.5m between them and separated with a pathway for shoppers. Only stall holders - wearing gloves and masks - are allowed to touch food and produce on sale. The areas will be disinfected before and after the events however, the markets will open on their normal hours, 08.00 to 13.30.

The use of masks and gloves is recommended.

The markets could have changed from their usual place so please contact the local authorities to confirm their current location.

Libraries have reopened but with strict procedures. Gloves and masks are mandatory at all times.

Items that are being returned, such as books and dvds´ will be placed in a container and disinfected with virucidal then stored for 14 days before being opened.

Each container will be marked with the return date and 14-day quarantine date, after which it will be safe to return the items onto the shelves.
