FREE ACTIVITIES FOR CHILDREN
A complete programme of activities aimed at learning about our natural heritage and environmental education especially for the youngest. L’Ampolla beach will be the place chosen for the environmental workshops for children from 5 to 14 years old that will take place in July, Thursday 30, and in August on Thursday 6 from 09.30 to 13.30.
The Pilar de la Horadada nature sites – Lagunas de Lo Monte and the Río Seco area – are open again and ready to be visited. The sites have been cleaned and disinfected and visitors are asked to adhere to the new sanitary rules against Covid-19 – observing social distancing from other groups; wearing a face mask if they cannot do so; and washing their hands frequently.
Lagunas de lo Monte stands off the CV-941 road from Mil Palmeras to San Miguel de Salinas and it is an important bird watching area.
The site is made up by old ponds of the former sewage treatment plant, which were used to store treated water for farming purposes.
When the plant was closed, the ponds became a shelter for native and migratory

Our coastal biodiversity: workshop with the aim of highlighting the importance of the Mediterranean Sea in general, and of the coastline of the municipality of Teulada Moraira in particular, including the Protected birds on their long journeys between Africa and Europe and are now home to impressive flora and fauna. Both Lagunas de lo Monte and the Río Seco nature area have picnic zones

Verde Posidonia: activity to promote the respectful, sustainable and appropriate behaviour of the users of the beaches and coves of Teulada Moraira through good practices in favour of the conservation of and litter bins. The town hall encouraged visitors to enjoy the natural sites, and use their common sense and collect their waste before leaving. said heritage, highlighting the important role of the grasslands of posidonia of the beaches in the conservation of biodiversity.

NIGHT HIKING ROUTES
Interpretive hiking night routes have been organised with the aim of using the town's environmental and cultural values as tourist resources, putting them in value through sustainable activities that respect the environment and its inhabitants.
Each route, intended for all ages, will have a guide and its registration at teh tourist info office will be free.
