Results of the individual stableford held in Oliva Nova golf on Tuesday, June 23

A good turnout for the second outing at Oliva Nova since the easing of restrictions, we had 27 players today but as the Captain alluded to when announcing the winners, the scoring was particularly low, this can be seen in the scores below!

Possibly some of the scoring could be attributed to the greens which were slow and did take some time for all the players to get the ‘feel’ of how hard they had to hit the putt.

Nevertheless, the scoring could have been much better.

Still, we had a couple of familiar faces in the winners list, Nigel Siddall, last weeks winner in second place and the evergreen Brian Barden appearing in the division 2 winners for the second consecutive week.

Today’s winners; First division;

1st place Danny Heron 33 points.

2nd Nigel Siddall 32 points 3rd Donna Green 32 points 4th Paul Sankey 32 points 5th John Snelling & Roy Jones 30 points

Second division:

1st Elizabet Grin 37 points 2nd Brian Barden 30 points 3rd Jan Jones 28 points
