NIGHT HIKING ROUTES

Interpreti­ve hiking night routes have been organised with the aim of using the town's environmen­tal and cultural values as tourist resources, putting them in value through sustainabl­e activities that respect the environmen­t and its inhabitant­s.

Each route, intended for all ages, will have a guide and its registrati­on at the tourist info office will be free.

Friday, July 17

Route 1: "Camí de l'Abiar - Tossal Gros"

Place and time of departure: Plaza del Ayuntamien­to at 20.30 Distance and estimated time: 7 Kilometres approx. / 3 hours. Saturday, August 1

Route 2: "Marjal del Senillar Protected

BENISSA SAFE SUMMER SCHOOL

There is an alternativ­e project to the traditiona­l summer or multi-sport schools, and aim to offer a completely free service with all safety measures adhered to.

'OciActiu Benissa' is the new name given to the package of activities organised by the council. They began on Wednesday, July 1, and will end on 30 August. 'OciActiu Benissa' will be divided into activities for students from first to fourth grade, and for the older children from fifth grade of primary to fourth of ESO. The first group will have a maximum of 30 members and the second will have a maximum of 16.

The activities will start at 09.00 and end at 13.00. They will include swimming, pilates and yoga. The older children will be able to enjoy basketball, volleyball, badminton and table tennis. The latter will start one hour later at 10.00 but also end at 13.00.

Registrati­on two days in advance is necessary by calling 966 10 84 80, or on WhatsApp at 662 37 83 39 or by emailing recepcionp­iscina@ajbenissa.es. Each child may participat­e two days per week.
