It was another hig h scoring week for the A lfaz F antasy F ootball leag ue manag ers with the av erag e score reaching ov er 4 0 points.

T here were eig ht mid-week g ames and nine P remier L eag ue g ames at the week end which prov ided the A .F .F .L . with 5 4 g oals, 1 0 clean sheets, 4 2 yellow cards and I'm pleased to report no red ones.

C hris's P romotion A g ain opened up a 1 7 point g ap at the top of the leag ue ov er former leaders W ade's A lli B arber.

A welcome return to form for L eicester C ity's F ox in the B ox J amie V ardy, who crashed throug h the 1 0 0 g oals barrier at the week end was instrumental in helping C hris's team ex tend their adv antag e. T erry's H annak ins mov ed back into 3 rd place and still hav e a lot to do to mak e up g round on the two leaders. S imon's W olv es will T weet U and E ric's P eak y B linders are both still in the hunt for a top 3 finish, and with the g ames coming thick and fast anything can happen in the final run in.

B ob's team, T he S trik ers is still mak ing hard work of it at the bottom, trailing L yn's H andbrak e C ity by 4 3 points.

H arley's G ing er Ninjar are showing no sig ns of g iv ing up the number one spot of our J unior L eag ue as they hav e manag ed to ward of the challeng e from R obbie's P iq ue B linders who this week replaced L uck y R ed F .C , in 2 nd place. H arrison's team B oden B oys are beg inning to look nailed on to receiv e the W ooden S poon for finishing in the bottom spot.

In our M ark C arter L adies section, D ebbie's F ox y F ilberts hav e been top of the pile for the last 1 1 week s and althoug h there has been a lock down in L eicester, it didn't stop the F ox es from slamming the E ag les 3 -0 at the week end.

L iz 's C ook ies C rew 6 1 are just 2 4 points away from the summit and hav e not g iv en up on catching D ebbie's F ilberts. A t the other end of the table, L yn's H andbrak e C ity and G il's K ippax hav e been sharing the bottom spot for most of the season and at the moment H andbrak e C ity trail G il's K ippax by 1 7 points.

W ith so many g oals flying in last week it was no surprise to see some chang es at the top of our G olden B oot L eag ue. T he leaders, P ompey H ammers stood firm at the top despite a strong effort from B ill's E ast F ifers who bag g ed 2 7 points thank s to A rsenal's A ubameyang and L eicester's V ardy who scored 1 0 apiece. G raham's L aurel and V ardy dropped two places to 4 th. M ark 's T ory B oys U nited didn't pick up any points this week which sees them slip 1 8 points adrift of B ob's S trik ers.

In our C hampion of C hampions leag ue which by the way has been won by A lli B arber, K eith's M ax and P addy lost 2 nd place to M artin's M arauders while at the opposite end of the table, G il's K ippax hav e swapped places with L una's L iv er B irds and are now behind them by 1 8 points.

T he priz e for our last manag er of the month is a bottle of the winner's choice and at the moment, G ary's S hack ladies D ream T eam are leading the way with a 8 point adv antag e ov er B ill's M ag g oty G its. W illiam and H enry are in 3 rd spot followed by L ucy's L uck and M ark 's S alford S ausag es.

T erry's H annak ins made it throug h to the final of our K .O . C up competition by seeing off H arley's G ing er Ninjar, while in the other semi-final the aptly named W inners beat A s T erribles by 4 4 -1 8 . T he final will tak e place on the last day of the P remier L eag ue.

W e hav e two teams heading for our monthly wine draw and they are our top scoring team which was G ary's S hack ladies D ream T eam with a g rand total of 9 6 points (2 nd hig hest of the season), courtesy of his two top strik ers A ubameyang and M anchester U nited's young talent M ason G reenwood who between them notched up 3 7 points. T he other team joining them will be our lowest scoring team which was A lan's W ednesday R G reat who only manag ed a lowly 7 points in such a hig h scoring week .
