Santa Pola is set to 'celebrate responsibly'

- By Alex Watkins

SANTA Pola is trying to keep its festive spirits up with a programme of events for the municipality’s patron saint fiestas that has been designed to comply with all the required health and hygiene measures against Covid-19.

The town hall has also published this year’s fiestas book, which includes the programme as well as photos, interviews, articles and more, covering the impact of the pandemic, the etymology of the municipality’s name, the history of the fiestas and how the port has changed.

All the activities will be held in the Auditorio El Palmeral and the Patio de Armas of the castle-fortress.

They are all free and will have preassigned seating and limited capacity.

Seats for the shows can be reserved by email to www.santapola.me
