Pre-season
The brochures, entry forms and the official players lists are now available and can be collected from the following places - In Alfaz The Drunken Duck, El Nui and Robin's Nest. In Benidorm, Union Jack and The Winning Post and possibly The Drop Inn (if open).
In Albir, The Orange Tree, Hepburns, Lil's Lounge, The Local, Arlequin 1 or 2, Quick Save Supermarket, Brew Rock, Casino, The Church, Saritas and the Kasbrane Bar. If we have any budding Fantasy managers who have difficulty getting the forms please contact me Eric Malpus on 696 075 632 and I will endeavour to get them to you soon as possible.
The 27th AFFL commences on weekend September 12/13 and all you have to do to take part in this very special competition is to select a team in a 4-3-3 formation from the official players list, who score points based on their performances in the Premier League and F.A. Cup throughout the 2020-21 season.
You can only spend a minimum of 45 million and not exceed a total of 50 million in your selection.
The closing date for entries will be 16.00 on Saturday, September 12, when I will be at the Kasbrane Bar in Albir for any last minute entries.
Don't forget you can go on our website which is www.alfaz ffl.com and select your team from the players list on there and email it to me on ericmal pus @gmail.com.
The entrance fee is still only €20 which works out at 50 cents a week and I can't think of anything else that gives so much enjoyment for such a small investment over such a long period of time.
Please get your forms in ASAP to help with the administration it is also important that you put the right code in for the players you have chosen.
Last season we had 10 minileague on the go so if you have a bar why not get your customers to take part in this excellent competition which lasts for at least 10 months (last year 12 months) and is a perfect way to build up rivalry and banter throughout the season as well as having a few bets on the side. I must stress you must have at least 10 teams to form a mini-league.
