September meeting announcement
Following a positive response from the members, we are now going ahead with our September meeting on September 28, but at our old venue of the Casa del Cultura auditorium, Alfaz del Pi, at 11.00am.
On arrival there will be a temperature check and sanitiser and a record made of everyone in attendance. Masks will be required at all times when you are not seated. The seats in the auditorium have already been designated for use and there will be a one- way system operating for entering and leaving the building.
We are working closely with the town hall in Alfaz and if the situation changes, and it is considered unsafe for us to meet, you will be informed.
The format of the meeting will be discussed at our Committee Meeting on September 21, but we expect the meeting
will be less formal than our usual monthly meetings due to the reduced number of members attending. The main aim is for us to meet socially but safely after such a long six months.
Several of our groups are now meeting and last week the Water Colour group met for the first time since lockdown!
