Trophy presentation to winners in the 26th AFFL

The Kasbrane Bar and the courtesy of Jordi and his staff in Albir provided a perfect setting for the winners' presentations of the 26th Alfaz Fantasy Football League.

Once again we had six different winners with the top prize going to former Notts County player Chris Dakin team Promotion Again who won the A. F. F. L. by the narrow margin of only 12 points over Wade's team Alli Barber.

The competition went right down to the wire with Pulisic's goal for Chelsea in the F. A. Cup Final proving decisive.

Three of our winners live in England so obviously they could not pick up their trophies but I'm sure once the restrictions are over they will collect them. These three were Harley's team Ginger Ninja who won the Junior League, William & Henry won the F. A. Cup League while Wade's team Alli Barber made for coming runners- up in the Main League by romping away with our Champion of Champions League.

Mark Carter presented his Ladies' Trophy to Hepbuurn's Boss Hazel who represented Elaine whose team Dizzie

Blonde won the League by coming from behind to snatch the prize from Debbie's Foxy Filberts who had been top for most of the season.

Henry Higgins son Lee picked up our Golden Boot Trophy for his dad who is one of our oldest managers at 82.

Last but not least was our very popular K. O. winner Terry Williams whose team Hannakins beat Jack's team Winner who didn't live up to their name losing 24- 28 in the final

Overall it was a great turn out and an enjoyable day especially for the prize winners.
