ALFAZ DEL PI BALCONY ART

The annual exhibition of balcony art is now on display. This year 47 artists are displaying their canvases, but sadly due to the current Covid- 19 restrictions, there was no official inauguration ceremony. The itinerant exhibition will be in Benimantell from November 14 until December 14

Saturday, October 24 - Noon: Dancing al fresco – fancy footwork with the Esbart Dansaire Company on a round- town tour starting from the Calle Pare Andreu Ivars and the Plaça Rei Jaume I

CALPE ARTIST INSPIRED BY THE SEA

The skills of Calpe artist Maria Vazquez can be admired with a visit to the town’s Europa bookshop, at Calle Oscar Esplá 2, until October 31.

A selection of her paintings inspired by the sea and local views are on show. Admission is free and the exhibition is open Monday to Friday from 10.00- 14.00 and 17.00 - 20.00 and Saturdays in the morning only

FINESTRAT

Until October 31: Soplao 3, an exhibition by the French artist and local resident Nelly Gerouard at Finestrat museum. Produced, using drawings, paintings and sculpture, a series of works that have come about as the result of observing bacteria, molecules and living sea organisms. Open Wednesday to Friday 16.00- 19.30 and Saturdays 09.30- 13.00. Visitors are also be able to visit the museum’s permanent ethnological and archaeological collections. Admission is free
