EPIFANÍA VEGETAL (VEGETABLE EPIPHANY)
Until April 16: Epifanía vegetal (vegetable epiphany) by Miriam Martínez Guirao at the Gil-Albert culture institute’s Casa Bardín. It offers a ‘transcendental vision of humans’ relationship with plant life’. Casa Bardín is situated at Calle San Fernando 44, Alicante and open Monday to Friday 09.0014.00 and 16.00-20.00

Exhibition by the acclaimed Alicante photographer Cristina de Middel at Las Cigarreras culture centre. The national photography prize winner’s latest offering looks at the passage of time, in which she reflects on the sense of veracity in the medium. Open Tuesday to Saturday 10.00-18.00. Closed on Sundays, Mondays and public holidays. Admission is free
BENIDORM OUTDOOR URBAN ART
Three of Benidorm’s outdoor urban art spaces are hosting displays of images taken by 18 amateur photographers from throughout Alicante province. The Poniente space features images of Benidorm itself, whilst El Tolls space focuses on nature, and the one in Calle Carrasco contains portraits, landscapes and detailed images, amongst others

ELCHE PHOTOCLOT
Until April 29: Exhibition of more than 300 images capturing the natural life in the Clot de Galvany municipal nature reserve during autumn at San José cloisters exhibition space. Featuring images by the 128 photographers who took part in the PhotoClot contest. Open Tuesday to Saturday 10.00-14.00 and 15.00-18.00, Sundays in the morning only.
