Easter fair in Jávea
AN Easter fair full of crafts, entertainment and a festive atmosphere will fill the historic centre of Jávea from Good Friday (April 7) until Easter Monday (April 10).
On Saturday in Plaza de la Iglesia, the traditional fair will also feature a sale and exhibition of local market garden products, including fruit, vegetables, oil, wine, honey and jam, etc.
The Fira d’Artesania has been running for more than 40 years and, as always, will be accompanied with a variety of entertainment and activities.
The Soler Blasco archaeology and ethnology museum will also be open Thursday to Sunday from 10.00-13.30. Here is the programme of complementary events and activities:
Friday, April 7
08.30: Traditional chocolatada (hot chocolate and buns) for the participants in the Stations of the Cross, in the municipal market
12.00: Fair inauguration with entertainment from the Colla Xirimitab's pipe and drum band
12.30: Concert called La Joia Més Preada, recounting a story by Pepa Guardiola, by Xirimitab's, at Plaza de la Iglesia
18.00: Rodamons theatre small-scale live story and music production called ‘Contes viatgers’ (travellers’ tales) at Placeta del Convent

10.00-20.00: Agricultural fair
11.00: Citric juice workshop
