BRITAIN’s Got Talent scouts are in Benidorm, on the lookout for talented acts that will be in with a chance of securing a place at one of the judge’s auditions in 2018.

Traditionally, regional talent teams visit all four corners of the UK, but for the first time ever, they are casting their nets further afield. Benidorm was chosen in part due to the high number of British expats who live and work in the resort and the production team wanted to broaden the search to encompass this.

The teams arrived at the beginning of the week and have already sampled some of the town’s spectacular entertainers at Sinatra’s, Showboat and Voices – with camera crews filming the entire event.

Now you have the opportunity of showing what you have! There will be an ‘Open Audition’ this Sunday, July 23 at Sinatra’s from 11.00 until 16.00 and everyone is invited to have a go – age is certainly not a barrier.

Whether you are a singer, comedian, drag act or acrobat – literally anything goes. Over the last 11 series there have been a variety of winners, from singer Paul Potts, who was the first ever winner back in 2007, to dance troupe Diversity in 2009, Ashley and loveable dog Pudsey in 2012, and the current winner, the incredibly talented pianist, Tokio Myers.

Many of the winners have gone on to have amazing careers – not forgetting runners up. Who can fail to remember Susan Boyle? She didn’t win, but she went on to sell more than 23 million records worldwide.

So what are you waiting for? All you need is something special to show and determination… and you never know where it might take you!
