Covid chaos in regional justice office
FIVE workers from the regional government justice department may have contracted Covid-19 after one of them came down with the disease late last week.
It turns out that the worker with the coronavirus had travelled to Lleida, one of the hardest hit areas in Spain, a week earlier to visit relatives. Therefore it is believed she picked the virus up during her time there.
As soon as her test came back positive last Saturday, government technicians rushed to disinfect the entire building where she works - the city’s ‘9 de octubre’ administrative complex. Furthermore, four of her co-workers were told to remain in confinement at home as a precautionary measure.
