Tribute to essential aviation workers

VALENCIA airport hosted an event in honour of all the essential workers and Covid-19 victims late last week.

The event began at the Requena aerodrome, from where 47 light aircraft took off in groups of five, six or seven en route to the city’s Manises airport.

Once they had all arrived, the workers extended a poster that read: “In memory of the deceased and as homage to essential personnel, from General Aviation.”

Several aviation associations took part in the event, flying in planes coming from

Alicante, Castellón, Requena, Olocau and Valencia.
