Scrabble challenge
IT was great to be back playing Scrabble this week in Almoradí.
Members were very keen to take up my challenge of being able to lay a seven-letter word.
During the first game six words were laid in total. The highest of which was Eileen’s with a score of 78. She was delighted.
Mike astounded us all by being able to play three in the one game. Unsurprisingly he scored 430 altogether.
His opponent, Phil didn’t do so badly, etching up 347 points.
I have chosen one such word by Graeme. Can you decide which one it was?
There are nine words to choose from, as the blank gives you more options.
