Free prehistoric exhibition

- By Joe Wickman

Valencia’s prehistory museum can be visited free of charge on Saturdays, Sundays and bank holidays.

If you’re looking for something to do from now until August 30 in the city of Valencia, why not pay the prehistory museum a visit. The facilities include several permanent halls with items that will always be on show, as well as others with rotating elements.

Items on show range from the Lower Paleolithic (around three million years ago) to the Visigothic period (between the fifth and seventh century), so there are pieces that are not just thousands of years apart, but millions.

The museum is located at the Centro Cultural de la Beneficencia, on calle de la Corona 36, and is open from 10.00 to 20.00.
