Pine time

WORK is being carried out in Finestrat at the pine forest of La Cala running alongside Calle Tramuntana. The project is being subsidised by Alicante provincial government.

Dead and dying trees will be removed as they have the added danger of transmitting disease to healthy ones in addition to being a fire risk.

The cleaning of gullies to stop flooding and erosion of banks and general improvement works will also take place.
